Corporate video checklist: before, during and after the shoot

A simple checklist so your corporate video shoot runs on time and the result is approved quickly.
Before the shoot
Define one main message and one audience. Name a single person who approves the script and the final cut. Confirm locations, access badges, safety equipment and who will appear on camera, and collect signed image releases.
Prepare the people
Executives and employees speak better when they know the questions in advance but do not read a script word for word. Schedule interviews in a quiet room and leave time between them.

During the shoot
Have someone from your team on set who can open doors and solve internal questions. Keep a shot list and check it before leaving each area: going back later always costs more.
After the shoot
Gather feedback from all reviewers in one document per round. Decide early which versions you need, such as a long cut, a short cut, vertical clips and subtitles, so they are planned in the edit.
Publishing
Upload with a clear title and description, add subtitles and use the video on your website, in presentations and on social media. One shoot can produce many useful pieces.
